Yes we accept direct bookings for stays over 3-nights, contact us via the 'contact us' page and we'll send you prices and our direct booking terms and conditions.

Our minimum stay varies depending on the season. Low season is normally 3-nights, Peak season is normally 5-nights.  We occasionally have 2-night offers. 

Yes, well behaved dogs are most welcome. Please bring your own dog bedding and towels. There is a dog exercise area available to guests by arrangement.

We state no children under 10 as the stairs in the cottage are very steep and outside the steps are very steep and are of differing heights, with a potential fall hazard.

We are sorry but the steep stairs inside and very steep steps of uneven height outside mean that the cottage is unsuitable for guests with limited or impaired mobility. 

Yes the cottage has two private parking spaces, one right next to the cottage (see main photo) and a second in Southgrove Road just behind the top garden.

Yes we have a Project EV 7.3KW EVA-07S-RFID charger for the exclusive use of guests.  Price per kWH is available on request. Payment for use is made directly on card via the Project EV app. The use of 'granny' leads is strictly prohibited.

Yes, all bed linen, tea towels and a towel bundle per person is included, however please bring your own beach towels.

Washing up liquid, dishcloth, scourer, wash-up brush, dishwasher tablets, hand wash/sanitiser, washing liquid and fabric softener are all available for guests.

We have fully equipped the kitchen for guests to prepare and cook your own meals, there are kitchen utensils, pots, pans and serving dishes, plus a great easy cookbook.

Sorry no, the cottage is compact and the maximum occupancy is therefore four sleeping overnight, additional day guests are of course welcome but not overnight.

Bedroom 2 can either be configured as two full width single beds (standard) or as a super-king bed (on request). Either option comes complete with linen and towels.

The cottage now has Wightfibre broadband giving download speeds of around 150Mbps, plenty to stream Amazon Prime, Netflix and Iplayer etc.

Sorry no, the cottage has to be cleaned, sanitised and linen changed to a set standard. We do ask guests to leave the cottage tidy and ready for the changeover.

The Cottage garage can be used by guests on request. However we recommend high-value items are still independently locked inside the garage.

Although not close to the Festival site in Newport there is a regular festival bus service running from Ventnor to and from the festival site including a late bus. Please check Southern Vectis website for details of their special festival services.

Yes, India Cottage is a member of Visit Isle of Wight, the official Tourist Board for the Island. We pay a levy payment to the Isle of Wight Business Improvement District.
